  1. Shall I learn this lesson?

    Some Western Apaches believe that to use many words is to impose upon the hearer’s opportunity to hear the way she wishes to hear. Fewer words by the speaker give the hearer power to use imagination the intellect to see what is spoken. (My paraphrase of a concept from Chapter 4 of Wisdom Sits in Places.)
